| One duty every Soldier can understand is guard duty. It is boring, it is exhausting, and one of the least desirable duties. However, we found out in this fight that it was also one of the most important duties we would have. Our battalion was tasked to defend the base against enemy intrusion and it meant manning observation posts like this one, ever vigilant for enemy attacks on the base. |
