What kind of nightlife is there to be found in a city of more than a million people in Japan? Almost anything you can think of, and many that you can't. We'll get to that in the next few pics. Here, a young, rather smartly dressed woman talking on her mobile phone, waiting for the nightlife to begin. The mobile phone is an indispensable tool for meeting people in Japan, and also a source of consternation for people who are annoyed by the constant ringing and people who have loud conversations in public. Some statistics show that one out of every three Japanese owns one. Walk around any city in Japan, and you will quickly believe that statistic.
