Here is what I consider to be a low-tech, albeit functional, text-receiving pager. Personally, I'm pretty sick of hearing about instant news, stock quotes and sports scores and am waiting for a useful application for that kind of push technology. These government newspapers are posted at kiosks around the city, announcing the propaganda along with social and health issues that the citizenry needs to know. This method may be low-tech, but it is a lot easier than trying to read propaganda on a pager display, eh?
